Better Days
Seunggu Kim’s evocative photography of place examines the multi-layered connections between people and their environment. His urban views are evidence of the loss of the intimate city, which is so evident in early view photography, and like early photography there is a sense of revelation in his photographs that such places exist in the world. Above all, his work documents the intense bond between people and the places they inhabit - places that are profoundly changed by the human presence that he so astutely observes with his camera.
